Frenectomy

A frenectomy is a simple soft tissue procedure that removes or releases a tight frenum. This can help improve tongue movement, reduce gum pulling, and support treatment for spacing concerns caused by a thick or tight attachment.

Tongue & Lip Tie Care

Small procedure, meaningful improvement.

When a frenum is too tight, thick, or short, it may affect gum health, spacing, tongue movement, and in some cases speech.

  • Can help correct tongue-tie or lip-tie concerns.
  • May reduce pulling on gum tissue.
  • Can support orthodontic correction of gaps caused by frenum attachment.
